Voter resourcesCelebrating 250 years of American independence
In 2026 our nation marks its 250th birthday, and Mount Holly has its own place in that story. In December 1776, days before Washington's victory at Trenton, local militia stood against British and Hessian troops here at the Battle of Iron Works Hill, helping draw enemy forces away from Trenton. We're proud to honor the founding principles of liberty, self-government, and opportunity, and to carry them forward for the next generation.
